Memphis Depay confirms MAJOR decision over his future amid Barcelona rumours
Memphis Depay has announced that he has split with his agency ahead of a potential summer move to Barcelona from Lyon.
Out of contract in the summer, Depay has long been linked with a move to Camp Nou, with a deal breaking down at the last minute a year ago.

Meanwhile, there were reports that Barcelona were unwilling to work with the SEG agency that the player was previously tied to.
As such, Depay’s decision would apparently open the door to a move to Barcelona in the summer.

Posting on Instagram, the Lyon attacker said: “It is time for me to take control of my career. As I have come to a point where I need to make important choices about my future, I have decided to negotiate my future goals together with my team of trusted confidants, backed by legal experts. I will decide about my destination myself. You will be the first to know.”
Depay, meanwhile, has become something of a hero in Lyon, where he became the first player in more than 15 years to record 20 or more goals and 10 or more assists in a single Ligue 1 season. He achieved that mark on Sunday thanks to a goal against Nimes in a vital fixture – the sixth he has scored in his last five matches.
Indeed, he has firmly put a disappointing spell at Manchester United behind him and appears ready for another crack at the big time.
Depay’s move to Barcelona now looks probable, although the door remains open to him at a Lyon side still holding out hope of reaching the Champions League next season as Ligue 1 goes into its final weekend of the season.
