‘No chance in this world’ Pochettino rejoins Tottenham with no Harry Kane, says former Spurs star
Former Tottenham winger Andros Townsend believes there is no way Mauricio Pochettino would return to the club if they are planning on selling star striker Harry Kane.
A couple of weeks ago Tottenham received the news they had been dreading when Kane formally asked to leave the club this summer should any suitors come calling.

The England international has again been in superb form this past campaign and picked up the Golden Boot, but again failed to win any silverware which means he is still yet to win a major trophy in his career.
He has spoken of his desire to play in the biggest games and finally win something.
Meanwhile, Pochettino has been linked with a sensational return to Tottenham despite only being named Paris Saint-Germain head coach at the start of January.
Chairman Daniel Levy is desperate for the Argentine to come back and has reportedly held talks over a return, though no official announcements have been made by any party.
No return for Pochettino yet?
However, Townsend believes Pochettino would not agree to return to North London unless he has assurances that Kane will still be there, with the pair enjoying a superb relationship during their time together at Spurs.
“I don’t think there’s any chance in this world Pochettino goes back to Spurs without Harry Kane. It’s impossible,” the Crystal Palace winger told talkSPORT.
“In today’s market, what are you going to get for £150million?
“If we were having this conversation in a year’s time, I would believe it. I felt the way Pochettino left, it was kind of on good terms.
“Daniel Levy and he both kind of said they will go their separate ways and will see what happens in the future.
“I think it may be a year too soon. Pochettino hasn’t done what he wanted to do at PSG.
“Spurs have gone a different route and it’s failed.”
Pochettino ultimately left Spurs the season after guiding them to the Champions League final when they were defeated by Liverpool.
He was subsequently replaced by Jose Mourinho, but the Portuguese boss failed to live up to expectations and was sacked in November of 2019.
