Tierney signs new long-term Arsenal deal

Arsenal have confirmed that Kieran Tierney has signed a new "long-term" contract with the club.
Tierney arrived at Arsenal in the summer of 2019 from boyhood club Celtic and has played 62 matches over the course of two years at the Emirates Stadium.

Though troubled by injuries at times, the left-back has excelled when on the field and was an impressive performer for Scotland at Euro 2020.
Although Arsenal have not confirmed any specifics regarding his contract, it is believed that the 24-year-old Tierney has signed a five-year deal with the club.

“Kieran’s new contract is not just about the present and next season, it’s with a long-term vision and Kieran being an integral part of the future of the club.”
Tierney's commitment to Arsenal will be seen as a major boost at a point in the summer when the club's transfer strategy seemed to be flagging.
