Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the Englishman, and is willing to break the Red's record transfer fee to secure his services, according to the Daily Star.

The German boss is keen on bolstering his midfield options with the 18-year-old ahead of the 2022/23 season, as the likes of James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be moved on.

Bellingham arrived in Germany just a season ago, but has already settled in remarkably well, showcasing his talents in the Champions League and earning multiple international call-ups.

Indeed, he was part of England's squad which lost the European Championship final this summer, and will be looking to break into Gareth Southgate's starting lineup for the World Cup in Qatar next year.

The youngster is thought to be happy at Dortmund, but a move of such magnitude would be hard to turn down.

So, how could a Liverpool lineup look if the former Birmingham City man decided to take his talents to the Premier League?

Alisson remains in the team, of course, since he has established himself as one of the world's top goalkeepers.

Arguably the best full-back pairing around, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are as crucial to Klopp's system as ever.

Virgil van Dijk's return from injury has gone well so far, and fans will be hoping that Joe Gomez can do the same.

That said, Joel Matip and new signing Ibrahima Konate provide plenty of competition in the central defensive area.

Fabinho could be the most underrated component of the team, and Jordan Henderson should have another year or two at the top level. As you would expect from a captain, the 31-year-old offers much-needed leadership qualities.

Bellingham could line up alongside those two, or Thiago Alcantara, in what would be up there with the most complete midfields in football.

As for the attack, Liverpool have boasted one of the most feared front lines in recent years in Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

But, the Brazilian's form has deteriorated lately and it could be time for Diogo Jota to receive a consistent run in the side.

Harvey Elliott is a young forward to look out for in the Premier League this season.
