Haaland transfer: Raiola spells bad news for Man Utd & Man City but good news for Barca & Madrid

The future of Erling Haaland will depend heavily on the wishes of his agent Mino Raiola, which is bad news for Manchester City and Manchester United.
Haaland is the most wanted man on the transfer market ahead of the summer window, with virtually every top club in Europe fighting for him.

The three favourites for his signature are Real Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona, with Manchester United said to be slightly further behind this trio in fourth place.
Bayern Munich and PSG are also big admirers but are well behind in the race, while Chelsea have now dropped out following the sanctions to owner Roman Abramovich.
According to Diario AS, Haaland’s agent Raiola will have a big say in where his client eventually ends up.
And that could spell bad news for both of the Manchester clubs.
Raiola has a notoriously bad relationship with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as the pair fell out when the agent’s client Zlatan Ibrahimovic played under the Catalan at Barcelona.
WHO ARE THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD?
Zlatan lasted just one season at Barcelona under Pep in 2009-10 and both the Swede and Raiola have made no secret of their dislike for the Man City coach in the years since.
Pep also dislikes working with Raiola.
The agent also has a difficult relationship with Man Utd and has been very critical of how the club has managed another of his clients, Paul Pogba.
Furthermore, Pogba is set to leave Man Utd on a Bosman Transfer this summer – the second time in his career he will cost the club a fortune by departing for nothing.
This all spells good news for both Real Madrid and Barcelona who, from a working point of view, have a much better relationship with Raiola.
Haaland has a €75 million release clause that will become active in his contract from this summer.
