It was another busy day in the world of football with Kylian Mbappe's future at Paris Saint-Germain stealing the headlines.

Mbappe agrees new PSG deal

Paris Saint-Germain have attempted to convince Mbappe to sign a new deal at the club for months now, but it had seemed as though he could make a switch to Real Madrid instead.

However, reports from France suggest Mbappe has agreed to a to-year extension in principle, with a major wage increase.

Barcelona are famous for their youth academy and how La Masia brings through technically gifted players, with Gavi being one such recent example.

However, they have reportedly signed a 16-year-old defender from Bulgaria who is extremely highly-rated in his homeland as they look to freshen up their defensive options.

While the Blaugrana have reportedly signed a young centre-back, they are also targeting a far more experienced on as well. Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is on their radar as Xavi seeks a more settled look to his backline.

Gerard Pique could well be fazed out in order for Kouliably to step into the role of leader at the back.

Karim Benzema scored the winner as Real Madrid beat Manchester City to reach the Champions League final in Paris, and former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has expressed why he thinks the Frenchman has suddenly hit form in recent years.

Despite many other beliefs, Wenger doesn't think it's down to the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.
