Pogba wants to join Juventus over PSG
Man Utd midfielder Paul Pogba has held talks with Juventus over a possible return, FootballTransfers has been told.
Vincenzo Raiola - who has taken over responsibility of Pogba following the death of his cousin Mino - met recently with the Serie A giants as well as Paris Saint-Germain, who are also keen.
Pogba and Raiola have spoken with both clubs in recent days. But we understand that, despite the French champions offering a similar wage to Juventus, Pogba is more likely to head back to Turin in the summer.
FootballTransfer sources tell us that the World Cup winner, 29, has been offered around €220,000-a-week at a fixed rate, with lucrative clauses and bonuses added on.
The deal provides an opportunity for Pogba to return to the club where he had tremendous success from 2012 to 2016.
Other reports have suggested that Manchester City are also keen on the star, as they intend to bolster their midfield.
But Juventus hold the advantage as, unlike the Citizens, they have been able to formally speak to the France international given that they are outside the Premier League.
Pogba is out of contract in the summer and therefore free to join who he wishes.
The World Cup-winner, who joined Man Utd a second time in 2016 for what was a world-record fee of €105 million, has been heavily linked with other clubs throughout his time at Old Trafford.
But now, with his contract coming to an end, the Frenchman must make a decision on where he wishes to be next season.
"Nothing is decided on my future, there is nothing done," he told Telefoot last month. "I can decide tomorrow, as I can decide during the transfer window. I want to come back, finish the season well.
He added: "The season is not over yet, but almost because we don't have any more titles to play for. I want to win titles, to play for something and this year and the last few years we haven't won a title. It's sad."
Pogba has made 226 appearances for Man Utd during his second spell at the club from 2016 to 2022, scoring 39 goals and winning just the one Europa League and EFL Cup.
