Hazard FINALLY set for Real Madrid departure
Eden Hazard's disastrous four-year stay at Real Madrid is drawing to a close according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
Hazard became Real Madrid's record signing when he signed from Chelsea for a total package worth €146.1 million in the summer of 2019, but it has simply failed to work out for the Belgian winger in the Spanish capital.
Hazard's last La Liga goal came back in March 2021, and he is yet to feature in a single minute of the Clasico against Barcelona - the most important fixture on los Blancos' footballing calendar.

Hazard has only started 15 league games across the last two seasons, and Romano thinks the current campaign could be his last.

"Of course at time he had some injuries so it was a physical decision, but also sometimes a technical decision by Carlo Ancelotti," the Italian said on his YouTube channel.
"The expectation is for Eden Hazard to have a big chance to leave Real Madrid in the summer and to be on the market. Internally there will be contacts, talks between Eden Hazard and Real Madrid in the next weeks to decide his future.
"The feeling is that only maybe a manager change could change the situation."

Hazard-ous future
Even if Ancelotti were to beat Hazard out of the Santiago Bernabeu exit door, it is unlikely the Belgian would have the faith of a subsequent coach.
Hazard's contract with Real runs until the summer of 2024, but Madrid are willing to take a significant hit on the player who is now valued at just €11.1 million by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm.
Arsenal and Fenerbahce were among the teams linked as possible destinations for Hazard over the winter transfer window, while Jose Mourinho could be interested in a reunion at Roma.
