La Liga chief admits ‘I would love to see Mbappe at Real Madrid’
Javier Tebas has admitted that he would love to see Kylian Mbappe playing in La Liga for Real Madrid.
The Paris Saint-Germain star was on the verge of a move to Spain’s capital last year before opting to remain with his current club. But still, the links have persisted and Mbappe could well make the move to Real, if not this summer then the following one.
And now Tebas, La Liga’s president, has openly admitted that he would like the Frenchman to make the move to the league.
He told Vamos: "In La Liga, the only club that can buy Mbappe is Real Madrid. I’d like to see him in the league."

Real's pursuit of the 24-year-old last summer ended with the striker signing fresh terms with PSG, when everyone expected him to be a Madridista for the 2022-23 campaign.
The words could be seen by some as a possible dig at Barcelona as well. Tebas has openly spoken about their precarious financial situation and how they are not able to spend any money in the upcoming window unless they sell some of their players and reduce the wages.
He also spoke recently on their controversy that’s seen them embroiled in a refereeing scandal, conceding that he is not sure whether results between 2016 and 2018 were affected by their actions.
Mbappe’s future is once again up in the air after Les Parisiens were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich.
The lack of a European trophy for PSG has been troublesome, particularly as they have spent vast sums of money in recent windows.
It is thought that Neymar and Lionel Messi could be moved on in the upcoming window, and a huge squad overhaul to take place.
PSG have plenty of names who are surplus to requirements and need moving off the books - Neymar and Messi would reflect a significant portion of that.
