Man Utd flop SLAMMED as ‘not good enough’
Louis Saha has told his former club Manchester United that Wout Weghorst is not good enough to remain as the club’s number nine.
United have made the signing of a top-class attacker their priority in the summer transfer market.
The Red Devils have been looking at the likes of Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane and Randal Kolo Muani.

Since January, Weghorst has been United’s first-choice number nine, having arrived on loan from Burnley until the end of the season.
However, the Dutchman has only scored two goals in 21 games and Saha says he is not the answer in attack.
What did Saha say about Weghorst?
“In terms of numbers, it’s clear that Wout Weghorst needs to score more goals because that is what a club like Manchester United need. When the ball is coming through from Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford or Antony, you need a striker who can score 15-20 goals a season,” Saha told Paddy Power.
“However, it’s not good enough that he’s scored twice in 20 games, and I don’t see that changing before the end of the season. In terms of his mentality, he works hard, but that is not good enough.
“For me, he hasn’t done enough to show people that he deserves his spot in the team beyond the summer. The manager has a better idea as he sees him in training every day, but for me, Wout is not the answer.”
Weghorst could yet make his loan move permanent in the summer, with manager Erik ten Hag hinting as much in recent weeks.
But United are still expected to sign a big-name nine as well.
