Liverpool target ‘plays last game for club’
Khephren Thuram has reportedly ‘played his last game for Nice’ after pulling up an injury.
FootballTransfers revealed the Reds’ interest in the Frenchman back in January.
We reported that the two sides had talks over a possible move for that window, but eventually, Liverpool were put off by the amount.

It seems that the price remains too high for Thuram - L’Equipe reported that it would take €60million to prise the midfielder, but sources informed us that the eventual fee is dependent on how many proposals are on the table.
It could well be that a figure like €45m would be enough to secure the services of the player.
In any case, Nice head coach Didier Digard revealed that the 22-year-old had sustained a season-ending muscle strain last week during his side’s -0 away loss at Strasbourg.
Thuram pulled a hamstring in the first half at the Stade de la Meinau, meaning that his season is now over.
“There is a good chance that his very long season will be over a little faster than it should have been“, Digard said.”
Thuram played 48 games in all competitions up until this point - meaning the knock will result in the first matches of the season that he will miss.
Digard added: “At some point, I have to think about the player and give him a breather. I didn’t and I blame myself for it.”
Bundesliga interest
As well as English clubs, it is thought that some German sides are monitoring Thuram over a possible move as well.
The 22-year-old has been one of the best-performing players in Ligue 1 this season.
We were the first to link the Reds to a move while we also heard about Newcastle being interested last summer.
The Magpies are now linked to Thuram via other outlets, with the club searching for a suitable midfielder to come in.
