Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool: The state of play - Fabrizio Romano
Fabrizio Romano has revealed the latest in regards to Alexis Mac Allister’s future at Brighton.
Romano has confirmed that Mac Allister will almost certainly leave Brighton at the end of the season.
The Italian journalist adds that Liverpool are advancing in talks for the Argentine, although a deal is not yet agreed between the two clubs.

What did Romano say about Mac Allister?
“No changes on Alexis Mac Allister and situation for his future,” Romano said.
“He’s expected to leave Brighton early this summer.
“Liverpool, advancing after they made a bid/presented project to player’s camp — there’s still nothing agreed or done yet on club side despite reports.”
Mac Allister has developed into one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League this season, forming a brilliant partnership with the equally-coveted Moises Caicedo.
The 24-year-old also played a key role for Argentina as they won the 2022 World Cup in December, their first World Cup in 36 years.
Mac Allister grabbed an assist in the final as Argentina beat France on penalties after a 3-3 draw.
He joined Brighton in 2019 from Argentinos Juniors and has made over 100 appearances.
This season Brighton have played some of the most entertaining football in England under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Brighton are in contention to qualify for Europe for the first time in Premier League history.
They also still have an outside chance of qualifying for the Champions League and were extremely unlucky not to make it to the FA Cup final.
Brighton lost on penalties to Man Utd in the semis after a 0-0 draw.
