Liverpool turn to Bayern Munich star to resolve midfield crisis
Liverpool are interested in signing Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
The report claims that Arsenal are also keen on the 28-year-old, who would be tempted by a move to Barcelona if they could afford him.
But Liverpool are a team in desperate need of a midfielder and have the money to complete a deal, having missed out on Jude Bellingham.

And the Reds would need to fork out a substantial fee, as Bayern would reportedly demand at least €60 million for their world-class star.
His salary is also thought to be over €20m per year - an extortionate amount but he may well be worth it to the Reds in their current predicament.
That's because Kimmich is widely regarded as one of the best in the world, as a 'number six', 'eight' and in the right-back position.
He would be an excellent addition to Jurgen Klopp's midfield, which is losing James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on free transfers.
Liverpool's Kimmich alternatives
Liverpool’s recruitment team are big admirers of Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu, FootballTransfers can reveal.
The Reds have had their eye on the Eredivisie following the January signing of Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven.
Now, Kokcu is someone they are considering a move for, while they also an interest in Tijani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar, albeit the 24-year-old features lower down the list.

Alexis Mac Allister, thought to be the Bellingham alternative, remains the player most likely to be the first through the door at Anfield in the summer.
We understand that Liverpool - and working with Jurgen Klopp - remain his priority above all others, and if the side were to miss out on the Champions League this time around, it would not affect his decision to move there.
