‘He chose Antony?’ - Man Utd fans rue wasted Ten Hag opportunity from his Ajax days

Manchester United fans are pulling their hair out after watching the Premier League’s round of fixtures this weekend.

The Red Devils have headed to Anfield to face Liverpool in a game where they are billed as the clear underdogs.

The opening half saw Antony pull off another poor display - question marks over his abilty have intensified given the fact he is yet to score or assist this season.

West Ham beat Wolves 3-0 in the earlier fixture and some supporters cannot believe that Ten Hag chose Antony over Mohammed Kudus.

Man Utd paid around £80million for Antony last summer, while West Ham managed to secure the services of Kudus for £36.9m this time around.

It’s possible that a deal was not there to be done for Kudus in 2022 but his form in front of goal for the Hammers in comparison to Antony has some fans annoyed that Ten Hag opted for the Brazilian winger.
