Man Utd preparing to make NEEDLESS transfer decision
RB Leipzig playmaker Dani Olmo is a reportedly a summer transfer target for Manchester United.
And, according to ESPN journalist Rodrigo Faez, Olmo would be keen on the opportunity to join the Red Devils.
The report states that the Spaniard 'likes the city of Manchester' and is 'in love with the Premier League'.

Faez goes on to say that should United pursue a deal for Olmo, they would have a 'big chance' to get the deal over the line.
This is the 25-year-old's fifth season in the Bundesliga, having left Dinamo Zagreb in January 2020, and he could be looking for a new challenge.
That is not to say that he has outgrown Leipzig, however, as he has so far failed to make the leap from 'very good' to 'world class'.

He has returned 62 goal contributions in 153 appearances in all competitions for Die Roten Bullen.
This is by no means a poor return, but is he the calibre of player that would significantly improve United's side?
Dani Olmo to Man Utd?
Olmo is a fantastic player and while he can operate as a winger, he is at his best when deployed as an attacking midfielder.
However, if he joins Man Utd then he will encounter the same problem as Mason Mount has this season: Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese international is club captain at Man Utd and he is a guaranteed starter in the No.10 position.
Mount was unable to oust him at the beginning of the season and with Mainoo now the golden boy of Old Trafford, there is only room for a defensive-minded midfielder next to the pair.

Olmo doesn’t fit that brief, meaning he would likely be forced out to the right flank in order to find consistent minutes.
The Spaniard is perfectly capable of this, but the Red Devils also want to sign Michael Olise, who is arguably a better right wing prospect given the fact that it’s his natural position.
FootballTransfers understand that Chelsea are also keen on adding Olmo to their squad, as a possible replacement for Conor Gallagher, while Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked in the past.
He should prefer a move to those clubs as going to Man Utd simply doesn’t make sense.
