EXCLUSIVE: Arteta pens new Arsenal deal as club look towards announcement
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has put pen to paper on his new contract, FootballTransfers can reveal.
We are told that the club's hierarchy aims to announce this before the start of the new season, especially with new player acquisitions anticipated in the upcoming summer transfer window.
While the exact length of the contract and the extent of the pay rise remain uncertain, it's anticipated to span for another three years, sources within Arsenal inform us.

After transitioning from his apprenticeship under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, to his tenure at Arsenal since the winter of 2019, Arteta has navigated through various phases – from the club's resurgence as title contenders and FA Cup winners.
The Spaniard is held in high esteem by club executives and terms have been thrashed out behind closed doors, extending his current deal which ends in June 2025, but an official announcement won’t be made until some time after the conclusion of the current campaign.

Mikel Arteta set to stay
The 42-year-old has led Arsenal to one FA Cup triumph as well as two Community Shields. Last week, under his stewardship, the Gunners victory at Manchester United broke the record for the club’s most Premier League wins in a season (27) with one game to spare.
Arsenal missed out on the opportunity to secure a Premier League title this season after Man City beat West Ham 3-1 on the final day at the Etihad Stadium.
