Clubs are actively engaged in negotiations to bolster their squads for the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.

Matthijs De Ligt to Man Utd
Matthijs de Ligt could well be on his way to Man Utd this week. It was reported by Sky Germany that the Red Devils and Bayern Munich are in talks over a deal for the former Ajax man, though both sides need to find common ground in terms of a fee.
It's thought that the defender's agent Rafaela Pimenta is working on the move as the club looks to expand their Dutch contingent.
David Ornstein reported that the move would be 'independent' of the ongoing Jarrad Branthwaite transfer, with the Red Devils hoping to bolster both sides of central defence.
It's thought that De Ligt has been offered a five-year contract until 2029 and wants to move to Old Trafford.
Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal
Riccardo Calafiori has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Arsenal. The Italy international has settled on a five-year contract that will see him earn €4 million per year, but there still remains the issue of a fee.
Bologna are holding out for a straight €50 million transfer fee as 50 percent of the fee will go to Basel, who have a sell-on clause in the contract of the Azzurri player.
According to Resto del Carlino, Bologna are already in the market for a new defender, however, so there are signs that they are anticipating his departure.
Victor Osimhen to PSG and Romelu Lukaku to Napoli
Romelu Lukaku has agreed to a three-year contract with Napoli as he nears a move from Chelsea, according to Sky Sports Italy.
Chelsea are requesting €30m plus additional add-ons for the Belgium international. But the deal hinges on Napoli, who must first sell Victor Osimhen to complete the deal.
Paris Saint-Germain, who have been linked to the striker for over a year, are in talks with Napoli over a possible move.
However, at the moment, the Serie A club is firm on not accepting less than his €130m release clause.
Osimhen has already returned to pre-season training with Napoli, and PSG are reportedly considering offering €100m (£84.3m) plus a player in their bid.
Nico Williams to Barcelona
Barcelona have made Nico Willams their major target for this window.
The biggest development has come by the way of Romano, who said that Barcelona are now really confident of completing the signing as they have convinced the player about the project.
They just need La Liga's approval of the deal. The Spanish club's financial issues are well-documented but La Liga president Javier Tebas recently revealed that they are very close to being able to sign the Atletic Club star.
Williams has been one of the breakout performers of Euro 2024, with his goal against England helping Spain win the competition.
And Tebas has claimed that a deal is possible. "I think he has a 58 million release clause: when you buy for 58 million, the amortisation is divided by the years of the contract; if you sign him for three, it would be less than 20 million per year, plus what you pay the player."
"Barca will be able to reach those amounts, perfectly acceptable if they are within the 1:1 norm. It is a club that is close to 1 billion in turnover, it can be in that [1:1] line."
Jean-Clair Todibo to Juventus
Juventus have made significant progress in their pursuit of Jean-Clair Todibo. His current club Nice has agreed to let the defender leave on loan with an obligation to buy, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Todibo would like to make the move and link up with his former team-mate and fellow compatriot Khephren Thuram, who joined the Old Lady earlier this month in a €15m deal.
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is set to off some €35m to secure Todibo, and despite West Ham’s €36 million bid, Todibo would prefer a move to the Italian club.
