Their arch-rivals, Liverpool, are yet to make any signings this summer. Arne Slot's men were close to securing Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, but the deal fell apart as the player chose to stay with his boyhood club.
Valencia’s 23-year-old goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, with reports suggesting that he was set to join the Reds in 2025 after spending the upcoming season on loan at Bournemouth, in what would be an unprecedented sort of transfer.
But the Mirror suggests that the Georgian shot-stopper, who became a global name following his heroics in Euro 2024, would be open to an Old Trafford switch too.
The report states that the Premier League giants are long-time admirers of the goalkeeper are even pondering over whether to make an offer.

It would be a strange move to make given Andre Onana was brought from Inter just last summer and he has started to gel into the team and look more comfortable.
Mamardashvili for Valencia lasts season
Last season, Mamardashvili was a key player for Valencia, making 37 appearances and keeping 13 clean sheets while conceding 41 goals across all competitions. He played 3,285 minutes.
Indeed, Mamardashvili also earned praise for his performances with the Georgian national team at Euro 2024.
He initially joined Valencia on loan from Dinamo Tbilisi in 2021, with the move becoming permanent in January 2022. His current contract with Valencia runs until 2027.
