Fans call for first Premier League sacking
West Ham supporters are up in arms after their side put out a hapless showing against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
In the early kick-off, the London side hosted Enzo Maresca's Blues. But they were duly torn apart by their city rivals, with fans aghast.
Guardian reporter Jacob Steinberg tweeted after the 3-0 defeat: "Lopetegui is under massive pressure already. Every game has seen West Ham play with no structure, plan, energy, guile. Today it’s been properly exposed.
"It was time to move on from Moyes but for this? This isn’t a refresh. It’s worse than before."

Chelsea astutely won the game, with a Nicholas Jackson brace and a goal by Cole Palmer. Maresca's side earned 2.34 xG to West Ham's 0.87, highlighting a poor showing for the Irons.
And supporters have had enough of their head coach Lopetegui, with some imploring the board to make the former Real Madrid boss the first managerial casualty of the season.
What did fans make of the performance?

This is Pellegrini all over again. Fancy foreign manager, lots of money spent but a team with zero organisation or structure. Won’t make it till Xmas

The problem with Sullivan is that he will never take a gamble. It always has to be an old, washed up manager with PL experience. Welcome Roy Hodgson by December.

Another £150m spent and we still don’t have a top-class young striker, our midfield is still slow as fuck and we still can’t defend to save our lives 😂😂

Lopetegui got that horribly wrong today. We’re only 5 games into the season and it’s the drained the life out of me already. Struggling to see any real positives at the moment. We are a mess all over the pitch!

I’ll be confident if I knew what lopetegui is trying to do but don’t have a clue 😂

Maybe , just maybe West Ham fans were out of order giving out about Moyes and wanting him out for finishing in 6th , 7th and 9th & getting European football and even winning a European trophy 🤷♂️
