PSG winger Ousmane Dembele has raised eyebrows by bizarrely revealing that he is fascinated by some of the most infamous dictators of the twentieth century.

Article continues under the video

Dembele revealed that he loves watching documentaries about former Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, ex-Soviet Union dictator Joseph Stalin, and former Zaire iron man Mobutu Sese Seko.

Hitler, Stalin and Mobutu are regarded as three of the most infamous figures in history, overseeing the genocides of tens of millions between them.

Dembele admits that he has a huge interest in following them.

What did Dembele say?

“I like seeing what the dictators did,” Dembele said in an interview also featuring France teammates Aurelien Tchouameni and Jules Kounde.

“Mobutu, the German guy (Hitler)… Stalin, all of that, I love it (the documentaries).”

As the video shows, Tchouameni and Kounde’s reactions to Dembele’s reveal sum up what most of us are thinking to the PSG winger’s revelation.

Dembele signed for PSG from Barcelona in the summer of 2023 after the Ligue 1 giants executed his release clause.

PSG paid the €50m fee in his Barcelona contract to take him to the Parc des Princes.

Dembele had had a difficult time at Barcelona with injuries, although he had re-established himself as a key member of the Barcelona team before moving to PSG.

He had an up and down first season with PSG, although he did contribute in helping the team win another Ligue 1 title as well as the Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions.
