The former England international has admitted that he is “ready” to leave the club and a host of top European clubs are now in talks with Man Utd over a possible January deal.

AC Milan appear to be the frontrunners in the race to sign Rashford this month, although the Serie A giants are set to face significant competition in the form of Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and West Ham United.

Furthermore, Arsenal have now initiated contact with Man Utd, as per Italian journalist Massimo Marianella. He told Sky Sport (via Italian outlet Spazio J): “It seems that Arsenal have made a phone call to Manchester United for Rashford. The club has valued him at €25 million.”

As reported in early January, FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal are considering a mid-season move for Rashford, although a deal remains unlikely due to the fact he would be required to accept a squad role at the Emirates Stadium.

We have also been informed that the Gunners are unwilling to pay more than €30m for Rashford - which is significantly below his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €54.1m.

Marcus Rashford to leave Man Utd?

Rashford has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring seven goals, but he hasn’t featured for Man Utd since their 2-1 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on 12 December.

The Englishman has three-and-a-half years remaining on his current contract at Old Trafford, however he is expected to leave his boyhood club before the end of 2025 after losing his place under Ruben Amorim.
