Man Utd set for SENSATIONAL €250m spending spree
Manchester United are preparing for a €250 million-plus spending spree this summer on three world class stars.
That is according to Fichajes in a sensational report which claims that we could witness the most expensive transfer year in Man Utd’s history in 2025.
Fichajes claims that United are preparing moves for Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres, Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz and PSG wing-back Achraf Hakimi this year.

All three are more likely to be targeted in the summer, with WIrtz and Hakimi almost certainly unavailable this month.
In total the outlay for these three players will surpass the €250m mark, with many other transfers planned this summer.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has made the decision to revolutionise a playing squad that has completely flopped over the past 18 months.
Erik ten Hag oversaw an eighth place finish last season in the Premier League, the worst-ever finish by United since the competition’s rebrand in 1992.

Things have got even worse this term.
Ruben Amorim was appointed as Man Utd manager just under three months ago, on November 1, following the sacking of Ten Hag.
The 39-year-old arrived with high hopes after a brilliant spell at Sporting Lisbon, where he won two Primeira Liga titles and developed a host of talented players such as Gyokeres.
However, Amorim’s first few months at Old Trafford have been historically bad.
United have won six, drawn three and lost seven of Amorim’s opening 16 games on the bench.
Amorim has the third worst win rate of any Man Utd manager in history and the worst since 1931 when Herbert Hamlett left the club.
Amorim has overseen Man Utd slipping to 15th in the Premier League, just three places above the relegation zone.
As a result, Ratcliffe realises the squad needs more world class stars such as Gyokeres, Wirtz and Hakimi.
What has Ruben Amorim said?
Amorim did not hide away from United’s problems in the aftermath of the 3-1 defeat to Brighton last week, describing this as the “worst team in the history of Manchester United.”
“Imagine what this is for a fan of Manchester United,” Amorim said.
“Imagine what this is for me. We are getting a new coach who is losing more than the last coach. I have full knowledge of that,” Amorim told reporters.
“I am not going to change, no matter what. I know we can succeed but we need to survive this moment. I am not naive. We need to survive now.
“We are the worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United. I know you want headlines but I am saying that because we have to acknowledge that and to change that. Here you go: your headlines.”
Amorim added: “It’s hard to explain. We have to acknowledge the moment and not go around the problem. Everybody here is underperforming, no matter what the circumstances. We are underperforming and have to accept that.
“It’s unacceptable to lose so many games for any Premier League club, imagine Manchester United. So it’s a really hard moment but we have to continue, we have to continue, there is no other way. We need to suffer and continue.
“Our players are really nervous and anxious. When you go inside the last pitch you remember the last games here, if I feel it the players feel it a lot. The only way is to continue to do the same and to win games.”
