Coman: It’s good to know Man City and Man United are interested
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has admitted that he’s flattered by interest shown in him by Manchester United and Manchester City but remains committed to the Bundesliga champions for now.
With a contract until the summer of 2023, either Premier League giant would have to offer a sizable sum to force Bayern to part with their star winger.
And while Coman is well aware of the reports linking him with a move to the English top flight, the French international is happy to commit his future to the Munich club for now.

“It’s good to know that good teams are interested in me, it gives me additional confidence,” the 24-year-old winger told SportBild.
“But I have a contract here until 2023, I’m just thinking of Bayern. It’s all good, I’m happy.”
Coman made his move from Juventus to Bayern permanent in 2017 and has now played for the club for over three years.
However, it has only been in the last 12 months or so that the French international has really nailed down a first team spot, with five goals and nine assists from just 15 games this season.
Indeed, Coman’s inconsistent run in the team had the player worrying when Bayern paid a reported £45 million for the services of Leroy Sane in the summer.
“I had the feeling that I could be used less often,” said the winger when asked about Sane joining the club.
“I’m 24, that’s an age I have to play. Fortunately, my fear did not come true.”
Yet now Coman’s name is one of the first on Hansi Flick’s team sheet every week and forms a pivotal part of a group of wide attacking players that the Bayern manager tends to rotate on a regular basis.
“We’re four for two positions, we’re team-mates, but of course we all want to play as much as possible,” said Coman.
“At the moment I’m in a good mood, but maybe that will change in two months. Maybe then Leroy [Sane], Serge [Gnabry] Or Douglas [Costa)] will play. It is important that at least two of us are always in top form.”
