Coman ends Man Utd and Chelsea speculation with new Bayern deal until 2027
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has brought an end to speculation linking him with a move away from the club by signing a new deal.
The France international has been heavily linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea as well as possible transfers to Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona for some time now.
Much of that was down to the player’s previous contract expiring in 2023 and the reported disagreements between Coman’s agent and Bayern over the terms of his new deal.
However, that has all now been put to bed, with Coman agreeing to commit his future to the Bundesliga giants until 2027.

"I'm very happy because Bayern are one of the best clubs in the world and I know we still have a lot of opportunities and big goals here," said Coman.
"I've been at the club since 2015 -- it feels like a big family. Everything is perfect here. My best years as a footballer are still ahead of me, and I'm glad I'll be spending them at Bayern.
"My biggest goal is to win the Champions League again -- and this time, please, together with our fans."
What does this mean for Man Utd and Chelsea?
In the long run, it seems unlikely that Coman’s new deal will change a great deal about the transfer plans of either Premier League club.
Despite being heavily linked with moves for the French winger, neither club seemed in any great need for another wide player in their squads.
Coman’s arrival may have helped once Man Utd sell Anthony Martial or Chelsea are forced into giving up Callum Hudson-Odoi, but for the time being a move for the Bayern star made little sense.
