Lewandowski confident of completing Barcelona move this week
Robert Lewandowski and his entourage are confident that his transfer to Barcelona will finally be completed this week, according to Sky Germany.
Lewandowski’s move from Bayern Munich to Barcelona has become one of the transfer sagas of the summer, and has been dragging on for a number of months now.
Sky reports that Barcelona are set to table their final offer for Lewandowski on Tuesday of €50 million plus bonuses, an offer that Bayern are likely to accept as they wish to use the money to fund the signing of Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.
Lewandowski and his camp are confident that the transfer could be wrapped up by the end of the week, with personal terms having long since been agreed.
The Blaugrana have already had two bids rejected by Bayern, the first €32 million and the second at €40m. They are now coming back with one final bid.
Barcelona have made Lewandowski their number one target for the summer transfer window and they have been in talks to sign the former Borussia Dortmund star since March.
