'Spurs DNA' - Kane brutally mocked as Bayern are lose to THIRD-TIER side
Harry Kane was the subject of ridicule as Bayern were dumped out of the DFB-Pokal - by a third-tier side.
It looked to be business as usual as the Bavarians took a 16th-minute lead against FC Saarbrücken. Not only were the Bavarian giants expected to beat the third-tier side but they were expected to demolish them given that Saarbrücken, one of the founding members of the Bundesliga, have been dreadful so far this season.
Promotion hopefuls at the start of the campaign, Saarbrücken have endured a Manchester United-esque first few months and currently languish near the relegation zone of the 3. Liga. Unsurprisingly, then, it came as a shock when Patrick Sontheimer equalised against Bayern in first-half stoppage time.

That shock was nothing compared to what would follow in the second half. With the game still at 1-1 deep into stoppage time - and Harry Kane still on the bench - Marcel Gaus beat Manuel Neuer, who only played his second match after his horrific injury, to send the home fans of the minnows into delirium.
Bayern are out of the DFB-Pokal and are enduring a remarkable cup curse: the perennial Bundesliga champions haven't won the Pokal since the 2019/20 season. As for Harry Kane, with Bayer Leverkusen comfortably top of the league, there is a real chance that he could end the season without a title to his name even though winning trophies was of course one of the reasons why he left (table-topping) Tottenham!
Unsurprisingly, the people of X, formerly known as Twitter, loved it...
Harry Kane's dedication to never winning a trophy is absolutely unmatched https://t.co/YvLxdXUQRY
