Bayern Munich have been smart operators in the transfer market over the past few years, although they are set to lose several players this summer.

A number of stars are due to become free agents in July and Vincent Kompany is therefore expected to see a fairly substantial squad turnover at the Allianz Arena.

Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could leave Bayern this summer.

Kingsley Coman

Kingsley Coman has endured an injury-hit career at Bayern and, despite his talent, he has never been able to establish himself as a consistent presence in the club’s preferred starting XI.

Furthermore, his current deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire in 2027, so this summer is the correct time to sell in order to receive a fair transfer fee.

Coman has been heavily linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent months, although it remains to be seen if anyone will submit an offer deemed acceptable by Bayern.

Leroy Sane

There is a chance that Leroy Sane signs a contract extension at Bayern, but he is currently set to become a free agent when the summer transfer window opens.

Bayern are eager for Sane to remain at the club, however they want to reduce his salary and the Germany international may opt to leave as a result.

Arsenal have been tipped to pursue a deal for the former Manchester City winger and a return to England seems like his most likely next step.

Daniel Peretz

Daniel Peretz reportedly rejected the chance to leave Bayern on loan during the January transfer window, but an exit is on the cards this summer.

He has barely featured since his arrival from Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2023, with Manuel Neuer keeping his place in between the sticks, and Bayern are set to pursue a permanent sale once the campaign concludes.

Sven Ulreich is expected to receive a new contract and keep his place as Bayern’s third-choice goalkeeper, while Jonas Urbig will be the back-up to Neuer.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane has enjoyed a brilliant stint at Bayern and an exit this summer appears extremely unlikely.

However, his current deal includes an €80 million release clause and several top English clubs have reportedly expressed their interest in finalising a deal.

Kane is expected to remain at the Allianz Arena until at least 2026, however a return to the Premier League this summer can’t be ruled out.

Eric Dier

Despite an encouraging start to life at Bayern, Eric Dier has become a rotation option under Kompany and he is set to leave on a free transfer this summer.

His contract is due to expire at the end of June and Bayern aren’t expected to offer him a new deal.

As a result, Dier is set to leave the German giants, despite the fact that is reportedly keen to extend his spell at the Allianz Arena.
