January's Most Wanted: Rebel Aubameyang to Barcelona or Newcastle?
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the cusp of leaving Arsenal after he was stripped of the captaincy by Mikel Arteta.
Following a disciplinary issue, believed to be involving punctuality, Aubamyeng had the captaincy taken off him and has not been involved in an Arsenal matchday squad since.
With the Gunners on an impressive run of form, albeit until their defeat against Manchester City, Arteta reportedly sees no need for the forward to return to the fold, meaning that the club could look to sell him in the January transfer window.
Aubameyang was linked with a move away even before the situation that has saw him exiled from the squad.
