Barcelona may not have the same spending that they once had a few years ago when they were signing stars like Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Countinho for hundreds of millions of Euros.

However, the Catalan giants still have a huge amount of pull for the very best players in the world due to their incredible location and the club’s alluring history and prestige.

As such, rather than spend a fortune on up-front transfer fees, Barca are reportedly set to rebuild their squad with a handful of carefully selected players that will be out of contract this summer.

Paul Pogba - Manchester United

You’d struggle to find a Manchester United fan that is still holding out hope of keeping Paul Pogba at the club next season and it seems certain that the France international is destined for a move to Spain.

Although Real Madrid have also been linked with the player, Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Barca, where he would undoubtedly find more game time as Xavi’s holding playmaker at the heart of his midfield.

Frank Kessie - Milan

Another addition in the middle of the pitch could come in the form of Milan box-to-box talent Frank Kessie.

Like Pogba, Kessie’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and if Barca can entice him away from offers in England, they may yet find themselves a long-term replacement to Sergio Busquets in midfield for very little at all.

Andreas Christensen - Chelsea

Away from the centre of the pitch, Barca will look to strengthen their leaky defence by prioritising the signing of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.

The Denmark international has been linked with moves to Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund but new reports from Spain suggest that the player is now 99 percent certain to opt for a move to the Camp Nou in the summer.

Matthias Ginter - Borussia Monchengladbach

Another central defender that has been heavily linked with a move to Barca is none other than Germany international Matthias Ginter.

The towering defender has struggled with Borussia Monchengladbach this season and will be dreaming of the end of this current campaign so he can draw a line under his time in Germany and start afresh in Spain.

Cesar Azpilicueta - Chelsea

And finally it seems as though Barca will perform a double whammy on Chelsea this summer by not only scooping up Christensen but also right-back Cesar Azpilicueta.

While nothing is certain just yet, the Spaniard has reportedly been offered a long-term deal at Barca and could be tempted to trade in his diminishing role in London for a leading one at BArcelona.
