Brazilian starlet Endrick recently turned 16 but has already got some of Europe’s top clubs tracking his progress and a move could be on the cards soon.

The Palmeiras teenager has a €60 million release clause in his contract, which activated on his birthday, and clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona are already keeping an eye on him.

In addition to that, Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the situation, as they look to build their new transfer policy around smarter signings with a long-term vision.

According to sources, several Premier League sides have also sent scouts to watch the player, and they are arguably best placed to afford the player’s high release clause.

Plenty of interest in Endrick

It is well-known that both Real Madrid and Barcelona have active scouting systems in place in South America and they have a track record of signing the country’s best youngsters.

In recent times, Real Madrid have benefited from it as well, as Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, their two Champions League heroes, were signed for massive fees when they were only 18-years-old.

Barcelona, meanwhile, haven’t had recent success, but are open to signing players from Brazil, and Endrick may be the next on the cards.

Since PSG hired Luis Campos, they’ve been looking to spend their funds smartly rather than wasting it on big talents, and that message has already been spread in this transfer window.

It’s rare to see a young Brazilian make a move to the Premier League – English clubs are usually the second European club young South Americans move to, but that may change in the coming years.

Since the Covid pandemic affecting finances of several European clubs, the top English sides haven’t been hit as hard, and that may work in their favour in this regard.

Endrick already has a big reputation, despite his young age, having scored 165 goals in 169 matches for Palmeiras’ youth teams, as well as five goals in four matches for Brazil’s U16s.
