Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid announcement is IMMINENT
Kylian Mbappe is expected to announce his intention to join Real Madrid at the end of the season imminently, putting to an end months of speculation regarding the future of the PSG striker.
Mbappe was unable to fire Les Parisiens through to the final of the Champions League on Tuesday as they suffered a second successive 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals of the competition.
Now the 25-year-old is ready to begin the next chapter of his career, with his time at PSG just about tied up in a competitive sense. With the club having already secured the Ligue 1 title, all that is left for Mbappe to achieve is the Coupe de France, in which Luis Enrique’s side will tackle Lyon.

The forward, meanwhile, is close to announcing his decision to move to Madrid. It had always been his intention to make his announcement once PSG were out of the Champions League while their elimination avoids the potentially tricky problem of meeting his future employers in the final.
Sport reports that an announcement is now "imminent" and that “Mbappe did not want to make anything official after the Champions League match against Dortmund because it was not the time after a tough elimination”.
The player’s agreement with Real Madrid is already in place and now it is simply a matter of finding the correct timing for an announcement.
“Everything has been ready for weeks and waiting for the final confirmation to give the green light, despite the fact it has been an open secret since January when the player said ‘no’ to the final contract renewal offer from PSG,” Sport says.
When will Mbappe make Real Madrid announcement?
Mbappe wants the issue resolved before Euro 2024 begins while Florentino Perez, the Real Madrid president, does not want fanfare before the final of the Champions League should Los Blancos qualify for the final.
Taylor Swift’s concerts in the city could potentially be used for the player's unveiling, but as these take place the week before the European Cup final, Los Blancos hope that won't be the case.
