Rodrygo could leave after going through what's been called a period of uncertainty at Real Madrid.

A report from Fichajes states that as the Brazilian was not included into the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or, his entourage are considering their options.

Rodrygo enjoyed a great campaign with 17 goals and nine assists, but he was snubbed from the shortlist.

It’s believed that the attacker has voiced his frustration over being left off the list. He feels that his hard work and achievements have not been fairly acknowledged.

Rodrygo, along with football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, has been notably overlooked from being included on the prestigious award.

Neymar, Brazil’s all-time top scorer, expressed his disbelief at the snub. He took to social media to show support for his fellow Brazilian.

Neymar praised the achievements of the 23-year-old, expressing his disappointment that his compatriot had been overlooked.

“Minimum top 5 in the world. Ace”.
