Xavi speaks out on Bernardo Silva, Aubameyang transfers
Barcelona are set to have a busy end to the transfer window having already been one of the biggest spenders anywhere in Europe this summer.
The Blaugrana have signed Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen this summer, and may not be done just yet.
Additionally, several faces have left the team, with others possibly on their way out of the Camp Nou before the transfer deadline as well.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to be on his way out, while there have been murmurs over Bernardo Silva’s possible signing.
Xavi hopeful on transfer activity
Xavi has been speaking on both transfers, and he remains hopeful that they can be completed before the end of this summer’s transfer window.
Aubameyang has been linked with a permanent move to Chelsea, as the Blues are looking for a new forward and he could reunite with Thomas Tuchel, who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund previously.
"Aubameyang? I don't rule out any situation. I take everything into account and we'll see," Xavi said when asked about the Gabon forward.
He also discussed Silva, who is believed to be unsettle at Manchester City and wishes to be sold before the expiry of his contract in 2025.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to #Chelsea is stalling over personal terms. He wants at least two years, while the Blues are only prepared to offer him one, and are mindful of his age/committing to a longer term agreement. It's hoped a compromise can be reached.

City recently rejected a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for the Portuguese midfielder, and Barcelona remain hopeful that they can get a deal completed for him.
"Bernardo? I'm hopeful, of course. But we know it's going to be difficult because there are only a few days left and with the current situation I see it as really difficult," Xavi said.
Other than that, the club are also looking for new full-backs, as Marcos Alonso and Javi Galan are rumoured to be targets, while a right-back could also be an option.
There could also be a few exits, with Sergino Dest, Memphis Depay and Martin Braithwaite possibly going and Frenkie de Jong’s future is still up in the air.
