Jamal Musiala is going from strength to strength at Bayern Munich and he has reached new levels this season, having impressed with the Bavarian side.

At the age of 19, he has established himself as a key component of the Bayern Munich attack, finding his place amongst established talents like Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and others.

He has scored 24 times and provided 15 assists in his short Bayern career so far and has had a fine start to the season so far, earning plaudits from Julian Nagelsmann.

Now, speaking ahead of his team’s clash against Barcelona in the Champions League, he has highlighted the impact of Real Madrid, possibly indicating a future transfer.

Musiala fuels Real Madrid talk

He made a few comments about Real Madrid’s status, pointing out that Los Blancos are a mythical club, which have raised a few eyebrows.

“Real Madrid is a mythical club,” he said to the media ahead of the match at the Camp Nou, which could well determine the home team’s fate in the Champions League.

Musiala is one of the game’s emerging stars and is bound to have a big future, however, he was beaten to the Kopa Trophy last week as well as the Golden Boy award, which were both won by Barcelona’s Gavi.

He can show his class when the two teams square off on Wednesday night in the Champions League, allowing him to display why he deserved those awards.

The German international could also get a chance to face Real Madrid later in the season in the Champions League, with both clubs touted to go far in the competition this season.

Musiala is likely to be in Germany’s squad heading out to the World Cup in Qatar, where he can show his quality on the grandest stage in football, which will only raise his profile in the sport even further.
