Liverpool transfer target Amrabat spotted at Barcelona's Camp Nou
Liverpool have made Moroccan World Cup star Sofyan Amrabat one of their top transfer targets with competition for Jude Bellingham's signature fierce, but it appears the player could have other ideas…
Amrabat, who currently plays for Fiorentina, starred at the World Cup with Morocco, acting as the cornerstone of the side that stunned fans and pundits alike to reach the semi-finals in Qatar.
Although his stock has never been higher, Amrabat would be a cheaper and likely more attainable alternative to Bellingham, who now has Real Madrid and Manchester City as well as Liverpool vying for his signature.

But the Reds have been dealt a potential hammer blow in the midfielder's pursuit, with Amrabat spotted - in disguise - at the Camp Nou for Barcelona's 1-0 victory over Getafe on Sunday.

Amrabat in disguise
"Several fans informed Relevo of the 26-year-old's presence in the main stand," report the aforementioned. "Dressed discretely and disguised by a cap, Amrabat experienced the Camp Nou atmosphere first-hand.
"This medium carried out the appropriate consultations and received confirmation that, indeed, the Fiorentina midfielder was in Barcelona this Sunday."

Barca are yet to declare their intent with regard to Amarabat, although it is known they are in the market for a central defensive midfielder with Sergio Busquets' future uncertain while Frenkie de Jong remains their most saleable asset amid their ongoing financial turmoil.
Amrabat is currently rated at €6.5 million by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm with his contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi running until summer 2024, but Fiorentina are likely to hold out for significantly more given his World Cup performances.
Amrbat has also averaged six progressive passes per game in Serie A over the last year, putting him in the 96th percentile league-wide for players in his position, so the appeal for Liverpool, and indeed Barca, is obvious.
