Real Madrid eye Serie A star with INSANE release clause
AS Roma star Paulo Dybalo is arousing interest from Real Madrid - and not just because of his performances.
The Argentine attacker has been in good form for Jose Mourinho's Roma this season after arriving from Juventus on a free transfer in the summer. In fact, the 29-year-old leads his team both in goals and assists.
In 30 games across all competitions, Dybala has racked up an impressive 14 goals and eight assists for Mourinho's side, proving that he is still capable to perform at the highest level after some down years at Juventus. Indeed, he has already matched his Serie A goal tally from last season despite playing eight fewer games.
Though his contract runs until 2025, some elite clubs have taken note of Dybala and they may try to lure him away from Roma in the summer. One of the clubs in question is Real Madrid, and they will be heartened by the fact that one clause in Dybala's contract could make any potential business incredibly easy.

A paltry release clause
That is because the 29-year-old has a minuscule release clause in his contract with the Italian club. Domestic sides would have to spend €20 million to buy the Argentine out of his current deal, but for foreign clubs, the fee is just €12m.
And now, Madrid are lurking. As Fichajes report, "Paulo Dybala has become one of Real Madrid's objectives for next season with the aim of strengthening their offensive rotation and having a replacement for Karim Benzema in the short term..."
Naturally, "Roma are trying to eliminate said clause with a contract renewal and a salary increase, but there is still nothing concrete about said negotiation." Furthermore, the Spanish outlet notes that completing such a great value-for-money signing would not diminish Los Blancos' chances of bringing in a Galactico in the summer.

"It is an ideal move both in terms of fit and price, but the fulfilment will depend on the player's position and Florentino Pérez's intention to make an aggressive move to convince him, taking into account that several important clubs are interested in his signing."
