Five players who could transfer to Real Madrid this summer
Real Madrid are linked with some of the best players in the world every summer, but who are the most likely to move to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2023?
Real have broken the transfer world record four times since the turn of the century, with the signings of Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, and they agreed a €100 million deal for Aurelien Tchouameni as recently as last summer.
The Galactico era is largely over, though, Real having been stung by the €146.1m flop that is Eden Hazard. Clever scouting is the order of the day today, but as seen with Tchouameni, they will still spend big on the right player.

So who are the five most likely to move to Madrid next summer?
Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)
Harry Kane has emerged as one of Madrid's top transfer targets, with the club keen to replace Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema - now of Al-Ittihad - with a striker who can both create and take chances from the No.9 position.
Daniel Levy will drive a hard bargain but it is understood the Spurs chairman would rather see his top scorer leave for the continent that join a Premier League rival like Manchester United.
Kylian Mbappe (PSG)
Real thought a deal for Kylian Mbappe was in the bag last year before the recently named France captain performed an about-turn, signing a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain that made him the highest paid player in the game before for Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo's €200m a year deal with Al-Nassr.
But Mbappe and Real chairman Florentino Perez have continued to publicly express their admiration for each other, and if the Spanish and European champions miss out on Bellingham, expect them to test PSG's resolve once again.

Gabri Veiga (Ceta Vigo)
Real have now signed Jude Bellingham for a potential €130m from Borussia Dortmund but they they could bolster their midfield further with Gabri Veiga, the young midfielder making a big impression with Celta Vigo.
The Spain under-21 international has also been scouted by Manchester United and Arsenal, but Madrid is reportedly his preferred destination and, rated at €17.4m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm.
Rasmus Hojlund (Atalanta)
Speaking of alternatives, Real look like they will need one for Erling Haaland for the time being, with the clause almost inviting them to bid for him in 2024 having been removed when Pep Guardiola signed his new Manchester City contract - and Hojlund would come in cheaper than Kane or Mbappe.
Hojlund has has a similar physique and style to Haaland, and could even be signed at the same time as one of the aforementioned superstar strikers, more content to refine his craft whilst at a different stage of his career.

Dani Olmo (RB Leipzig)
Last but by no means least is Dabi Olmo, who despite being a Barcelona fan, looks more likely to leave RB Leipzig for Real Madrid next summer with the Catalan giants currently wrestling with a crippling dept.
A No.10, Olmo would give Real something they have been missing since Isco left the club for Sevilla last summer. Heading into the final year of his deal in Germany, Olmo would reportedly set Real back €30m.
