Real Madrid have ‘match point’ in Bellingham transfer talks – Fabrizio Romano
Real Madrid hold a “match point” in their transfer quest to sign Jude Bellingham, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been courted by a string of big clubs from around Europe, including Manchester City and Liverpool, but it appears that Los Blancos have won the race for the 19-year-old.
Romano is not prepared to give the deal his famous ‘here we go’ catchphrase, but he does say that there are only a few details to iron out before Bellingham becomes a Real Madrid player in the summer.

Bellingham to Real Madrid latest
Dortmund have yet to receive a concrete bid for Bellingham, Romano reveals in a YouTube video, but he does indicate that a meeting is scheduled for this month and that the Spanish club hope to have negotiations completed by the end of May.
But while Real Madrid are eager to press on with the move, they are being very respectful of Borussia Dortmund in the process. They have an excellent relationship with the Bundesliga club and they want to ensure that the transfer saga does not overshadow BVB’s push for the German title.

Real Madrid are trying to keep negotiations private, and when they do meet Dortmund this month, it is said that the talks are likely to be cordial. Crucially, though, the Spaniards will go into these discussions with an agreement with Bellingham virtually tied up.
With Man City and Liverpool out of the running for the England international, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €100 million, it is said that Madrid have a “match point” in negotiations, which should not prove to be too complicated.
It is expected that Dortmund will accept an offer around the €120-130 million mark for Bellingham bonus payments included.
