Barcelona wonderkid Ez Abde is seeking to leave Camp Nou before the end of the summer transfer window, according to reports in Spain.

Abde’s future has been the subject of much discussion over the course of the summer, but the 21-year-old winger seemed to have elected to stay and fight for his place at Barca following a discussion between sporting director Deco and agent Javi Garrido.

Relevo reports, however, that the Morocco international was upset at having not been selected to play against Villarreal in the thrilling 4-3 victory at the weekend.

Abde thought he had a chance of starting that game but he was snubbed entirely by Xavi, with Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati selected to come off the bench ahead of him. It was the first time this season that he has not been given an opportunity to get any minutes whatsoever.

Suddenly, the discussion over his future has reopened. It is started that Abde’s entouarage have already been in touch with Barcelona’s leadership to demand an explanation, while the Blaugrana’s leaders have told the player that he is not for sale.

“For Xavi, Abde is non-negotiable,” the report started. “The club's position has not changed with Abde, but after not playing at La Ceramica the player is hurt and thinks about his future.”

Who wants to sign Ez Abde?

Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen have both been linked with Abde in recent weeks, while further back in the summer window Juventus had been associated with the player.

Meanwhile, Osasuna have confirmed that they have an interest in the player, with president Luis Sabalza even speaking out on the matter.

"I would like Abde to come back," he told Noticias de Navarra. "If they want to sell him it will be difficult, but if they loan him out, we would have a possibility."

Abde is unlikely to be sold by Barcelona, with a loan at this late stage in the window the likeliest way to solve this impasse.
