Mathys Tel recently emerged as a potential Real Madrid target and Bundesliga experts are in agreement - this wonderkid will flush at least €100 million into Bayern's coffers.

Everyone in Germany is waxing lyrical about one teenager: Mathys Tel. The Bayern youngster is currently on a record-breaking goalscoring spree. Sure, Stuttgart's incredible sharpshooter Serhou Guirassy has already found the net 10 times in just five games, while Tel's teammate and new mentor Harry Kane has eight in six across all competitions.

Tel himself has only scored four times, but nobody is doing it like him. That is because the 18-year-old is currently scoring a goal every 80 minutes. Since Bayern shelled out €20 million on him last year, Tel has scored ten goals in a little over 740 minutes of football.

This season alone, the former Stade Rennais teenager has found the net four times in 146 minutes. His goal against Manchester United in the Champions League made headlines, but because of this, it has gone under the radar that he again scored in Bayern's 7-0 demolition of Bochum at the weekend.

The next €100m striker

Tel is quickly becoming one of the Bundesliga's hottest prospects. He boasts the best goals-per-minute ratio in league history and journalist Tobias Holtkamp recently claimed that he alone will pay back the €100m+ that Bayern spent on Harry Kane.

Indeed, in recent days, Tel has been touted as a potential alternative for Real Madrid should they fail to land Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman could put pen to paper on a new PSG contract before the winter and this would make acquiring him very difficult and expensive for Los Blancos.

If true that PSG would want at least €200m for Mbappe, Tel could represent a cheaper alternative, and if he keeps scoring at his current rate, more clubs will emerge as potential suitors for the 18-year-old who is still only a backup at Bayern.
