Barcelona get TEMPTING offer for Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo
Barcelona have been told exactly what Atletico Madrid expect to receive for attacker Joao Felix if they choose to buy him on a permanent basis.
Barca snapped up the 24-year-old until the end of the season during the summer transfer window after he returned to the club following a temporary stint at Chelsea.
Joao Felix made it clear that he was not happy with Atletico Madrid, although he did sign a one-year extension to his contract before he completed his switch to Camp Nou, ensuring that he would still retain transfer value to his parent club no matter the outcome of the move.

And his time at Barcelona is going along nicely, with Felix scoring three goals and creating four more in 14 appearances for the club. He has had a hand in a goal on average every 67 minutes he has been on the field.
If Barca want to retain the player on a permanent basis, Atleti have told the Catalan side that they will have to pay around €70 million to do so.

While this figure may test Barcelona’s financial strength given their problems in recent seasons, the demand of Diego Simeone’s side is perfectly reasonable.
According to FootballTransfers’ Player Valuation Model, Joao Felix’s expected transfer value comes in at €57m, but the wiggle room in the calculation indicates that anything up to €71m would be a reasonable fee to pay for the player.
Joao Cancelo a potential bargain
Barcelona have also been told that €30m will allow them to keep Joao Cancelo, who is on loan from Manchester City.
The 29-year-old has two goals and an assist for Barca since arriving late in the summer and has an expected transfer value of €36m.
Cancelo’s price, though, has been on a dramatic slide for several years and the prospect of Barca receiving a return on their investment is likely to be limited to what he can produce on the football field.
Nevertheless, the prospect of picking up an experienced international player for below his market value will be tempting.
