Major first for Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid as debut date confirmed
Kylian Mbappe will appear in his capacity as a Real Madrid player for the first time on Wednesday, with the France superstar set to take part in his first training session for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Real Madrid spent years chasing the 25-year-old before finally landing him as a free agent after his contract with PSG expired at the end of June.
Mbappe to the Bernabeu is the blockbuster transfer story of the summer, and there has been a good deal of anticipation among fans to see him finally in the club’s colours.
This was underlined as 80,000 attended a spectacular presentation in June for the World Cup winner – equalling the mark set by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

Mbappe targeting Super Cup debut
Now AS reports that Mbappe will hook up with some his new Real Madrid teammates for the first time.
A large portion of the first team are out in the US on tour, and indeed they played out a 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Tuesday as first-half goals from Lucas Vazquez and Brahim Diaz sealed victory.
Mbappe, though, will be working out at the club’s base of Valdebebas with the objective of being fit for the European Super Cup final, which takes place on 14 August in Warsaw against Atalanta.
He has been following a specialised program over the summer devised by Real Madrid fitness coach Antonio Pintus, so it is not expected that he will take too long to get up to speed in his new surroundings.
And while there are many Real Madrid players in the US, Mbappe will certainly not be alone at the club’s base.
Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Ferland Mendy, Federico Valverde and Dani Carvajal are all set to training back in Spain with the objective of being available to play against Atalanta next week in what will be Mbappe's debut.
