Cristiano Ronaldo has launched an appeal to find a tearful Al-Nassr fan amid the drama that surrounds his partner Georgina Rodriguez.

Ronaldo was left out of the Al-Nassr squad to face Al-Kholood in a Saudi Pro League encounter on Friday after it was revealed that Georgina had been hospitalised with pneumonia.

Instead, he chose to spend time at home with his family.

What did not go unnoticed by the 39-year-old Ronaldo, however, was the outpouring of sympathy towards both him and Georgina from supporters – including those who watched a thrilling 3-3 draw.

One fan in particular caught the eye of Ronaldo as the crowd chanted his name.

Indeed, the former Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus star posted a video on his X account of a supporter wearing an Al-Nassr shirt with ‘Ronaldo 7’ brandished across it.

He was holding up a phone and as Ronaldo’s name was chanted, he broke down in tears.

Ronaldo posted: “Looking for him! Any info would be appreciated.”

Ronaldo has scored nine goals this season and has created three more in 11 outings for Al-Nassr this season.

Georgina Rodriguez’s message

Georgina Rodriguez, meanwhile, sent a message to the hospital staff who treated her.

“Finally back home! I spent four days at the hospital with pneumonia, I’m better now but still recovering at home with my family,” she posted on her Instagram stories.

“I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff members, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital.

“They took care of me so wonderfully and I’m very grateful for that. Thank you all for such a great stay.”
