Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal and England)

David Raya is the undisputed number one at Arsenal and with the Spaniard set to join the Gunners on a permanent deal, it’s time for Aaron Ramsdale to leave the Emirates Stadium.

His place at Euro 2024 may even be at risk due to his lack of game time and Ramsdale needs to secure an Arsenal exit if wants to end his time as a number two goalkeeper.

Christian Eriksen (Man Utd and Denmark)

Christian Eriksen is expected to leave Manchester United this summer and FootballTransfers understands that the Denmark international will push to depart if a suitable offer arrives.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has barely featured this campaign, with Erik ten Hag opting for other options in the middle of the park, and he arguably needs a transfer to save his club career at 32 years old.

Dayot Upamecano (Bayern Munich and France)

Thomas Tuchel’s imminent Bayern Munich exit could ensure Dayot Upamecano doesn’t need to push to leave the Allianz Arena, but his game time has been extremely limited recently.

The France international is a regular starter under Didier Deschamps, however he has fallen completely out of favour at Bayern.

Since returning from injury in February, Upamecano has played just 335 minutes from a possible 1,350, with Tuchel preferring Matthijs de Ligt and Eric Dier. If that continues, then an exit could be a necessity.

Federico Chiesa (Juventus and Italy)

Massimiliano Allegri’s return to Juventus has come at the detriment of Federico Chiesa, who has been poorly utilised by the Old Lady legend.

Chiesa has been restricted by Allegri over the past few years and he has certainly regressed since his amazing Euro 2020 campaign.

The flying winger needs a transfer to get back to his best, or he risks his career stagnating even further.

Luka Modric (Real Madrid and Croatia)

Like many players on this list, Luka Modric has seen his game time massively reduced this campaign.

The Real Madrid midfielder has fallen down the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti and a summer move seems like the perfect idea. The MLS is seemingly calling amid Inter Miami interest and Modric could use one final transfer following his current limited involvement at the Santiago Bernabeu.
