How much prize money each team will make at Euro 2020
The 2020 European Championship will take place over June and July of 2021, having been rescheduled from the previous year due to the pandemic.
Though prize money is generally thought to be something that impacts only clubs around the world, nations receive big money for winning tournaments, too.

Not only that, but the further a nation goes, the more money they will naturally receive, so it is within their best interests to progress through the rounds not just for success on the pitch but also increased financial stability.
For Euro 2020, the overall prize money has increased by 23% to €371 million.
How much will teams receive for qualifying?
All 24 teams who have qualified for the Euros will receive €9.25m.
How much will teams receive for group stage results?
If a team records a victory in the group stage, they will receive €1.5m. If they earn a draw, they will receive €750,000.
How much will teams receive for the last 16?
Each of the 16 teams who qualify for the first knockout stage of the tournament will receive €2m.
