FIFA 23 wonderkids: The 30 best young forwards
Barcelona star and Spain international Ansu Fati has the highest potential rating of any forward aged 21 or under in FIFA 23 Career Mode.
The FC Barcelona youngster has been handed a 79 rated base card for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, Kick Off and Career Mode, but in the latter game mode he is able to become a 90 rated player, which is the highest potential of any young forward in EA Sports’ popular video game.

Fati has been positioned as a left winger in FIFA 23, meaning he classifies as a forward in the game.
Behind the Spaniard is Real Madrid’s Brazilian wonderkid Rodrygo, AC Milan’s Charles De Ketelaere, Napoli’s Georgian star Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Olympique Lyonnais’s Rayan Cherki, Borussia Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko and Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa.
All six of those players have the potential to reach a rating of 88 in FIFA 23 Career Mode. Rodrygo starts the game as the highest rated of the six, with the Brazilian handed an 81 rated card. Nusa starts as the lowest rated, with the Club Brugge forward rated 68 at the beginning of the game.

In seventh place in the standings for the best young forwards is Karim Adeyemi, who signed for Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in the 2022 summer transfer window. The young German has the potential to reach 87 rated and starts as a 75 rated player. Leeds United youngster Joe Gelhardt also has 87 rated potential.
Six players aged 21 or under have the potential to become 86 rated forwards in FIFA 23 Career Mode. They are: Noni Madueke, Matteo Cancellieri, Francisco Conceicao, Savio, Luka Romero and Kayky.
The final 15 players in the top 30 highest rated young forwards in FIFA 23 Career Mode all have the potential to reach a rating of 85. The likes of Chelsea’s Armando Broja, Stade Rennais’ Jeremy Doku, and RB Salzburg’s Benjamin Sesko are included in these 15 players.
