Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been one of the stand-out performers at this summers Euro 2020 following his performance against Germany.

While it wasn’t the towering midfielder that scored the opening goal for France, Pogba set it up with a remarkable long ball over the top of the German defence, that allowed Lucas Hernandez to break through and set up the goal.

Indeed, the Man Utd star could prove to be one of the most enticing talents on this summer’s transfer market if he continues to impress for France. And it seems as though other clubs are beginning to take notice.

According to Le Parisien, French giants Paris Saint-Germain are now seriously considering a move for the midfielder due to his current contract situation with Man Utd.

Pogba has just one year left on his deal at Old Trafford, meaning he can speak to clubs in January and move for free next summer if he refuses to sign a new deal. Or, alternatively, force a move this summer.

So how would PSG line up next season if they managed to sign Pogba in the summer window?

PSG’s starting XI with Paul Pogba next season

Although PSG have a number of central midfielders to pick from, it’s probably safe to assume that Mauricio Pochettino wouldn’t struggle to find space for Pogba in midfield.

The Parisian club have a number of defensive midfielders to try and balance out the attacking trio, but very few holding playmakers in the style that Pogba likes to play.

As such, it would probably make the most sense for Pochettino to play Pogba in a 4-3-3, where he could safely pick out passes for the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar without worrying about tracking back too often.

In that sense, an ideal PSG starting XI would see the French midfielder start alongside defensive enforcer Gini Wijnaldum and box-to-box maverick Marco Veratti, which should offer the perfect blend of defensive and attacking talent.
