Real Madrid's Mbappe plan revealed

Real Madrid are still planning to try and woo Kylian Mbappe to Santiago Bernabeu this summer with a big-money offer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Even before Mbappe completed his €145 million transfer from Monaco to PSG a few years ago, Real Madrid were strongly linked with the Frenchman.
The player himself is a self-confessed Real Madrid fan and spent his childhood idolising Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he hopes to emulate in the Spanish capital one day in his career.
Though Mbappe said recently his ambition is to win the Champions League with PSG, he wants to move to Real Madrid, ideally this season.

PSG are not in a strong negotiating position, either, as his contract runs out next summer which means the French giants need to sell him in this transfer window if they hope to receive a significant transfer fee.
So far, Madrid have been patient in their advances, but according to Spanish outlet AS, they will intensify their efforts towards the end of the transfer window.
The report indicates that Madrid will present their opening offer to PSG on 29 August as that is when club football ends for the international break, as Los Blancos believe negotiations will be smoother with Mbappe's current club if there are no games on the horizon to worry about or prepare for.
That would, of course, leave PSG very little time to replace the World Cup winner, but they have recruited one Lionel Messi this summer so the blow isn't as bad as it might have been.
Real Madrid are preparing an offer between €130m and €170m for Mbappe, and if that fails, they hope to sign him as a free agent in 12 months.
How has Mbappe performed for PSG this season?
If Mbappe's mind is currently on a move to Madrid, he certainly isn't showing it with his actions on the pitch as he has been excellent so far for PSG in the 2021/22 Ligue 1 season, which is three games in.
In his three matches so far, he has played every minute and has recorded three assists and one goal.
He scored his first goal of the new campaign in a Friday evening 4-2 victory over Brest.
In predatory fashion, he took advantage of some unsure defending from the opposition to leap into the air and head a loose ball into the corner from around 13 yards.
Carlo Ancelotti is the new man in charge at Real Madrid following the departure of Zinedine Zidane, and although Mbappe dreamt of playing under his compatriot, the presence of Ancelotti will not be a problem.
