Messi, Neymar and Mbappe make history as Ramos booed
Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe made history in Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 match against Lorient.
The trio scored in the same game for the first time ever, eight months after they teamed up.
This underlines the failure that has been PSG's experiment of playing three of the most talented attackers in football history together.
Messi and Neymar have experience of a similar situation, with Luis Suarez at Barcelona, but this has been a long way off that success.
That is not to say that Mbappe is the issue, though.
The Frenchman has been spectacular this season and was the best player on the pitch tonight.
He was also the pick of the three in PSG's Champions League tie with Real Madrid, which Los Blancos won 3-2.
Instead, it is the two former Barca players that have let the side down, slowing down as a result of age and injury.
And the pair will have to improve next season should Mbappe leave for Real Madrid.
What is going on with Ramos at PSG?
Another player with something to prove is former Madrid man Sergio Ramos who was booed when he came on.
The centre-back was brought to Parc des Princes as not only a world-class player but a leader, though he has not had the desired impact.
Got to say, the #PSG fans' booing of Ramos is pretty distasteful.
His injury problems genuinely appear to have been chronic.

The Spaniard has suffered greatly with injuries, limiting the influence he can have on the team.
In fact, he has started just two Ligue 1 games this season.
Yet, the appealing reception he received came as a surprise to many, as his lack of involvement isn't for a lack of trying.
