Man Utd, Arsenal receive boost in Cody Gakpo chase
Cody Gakpo is of interest to many across Europe after a wonderful start to the season and they may have received a boost in the bid to sign the Dutch talent.
Gakpo was linked with a move to various English clubs in the summer including Manchester United and Arsenal but a transfer never materialized.
They have continued their interest in him with a view to a future move and judging by his start to the season, there will be massive interest in him once again.

Now, they have learned how much they will have to pay for him – and it’ll be welcomed as PSV would be willing to sell their biggest talent for a low price.
Gakpo available on the cheap
According to Dutch publication De Telegraaf, PSV can’t afford to turn down a big offer for Gakpo as they are going through financial troubles and will have to sell.
There’s a belief that Gakpo could be sold for as little as £25 million – a low fee for a player who has 13 goals and 13 assists in 20 matches across all competitions for PSV this season.

Last summer, Manchester United were looking to make a move for him but opted to go for Antony instead, however, Erik ten Hag remains an admirer of Gakpo’s talents.
Gakpo spoke on that interest, telling The Times: "I was close to leaving, I spoke to Erik ten Hag a few times at Manchester United."

"In the end the deal didn't go through, which was a shame, for me and my development, and because Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world, but also for PSV, because to transfer a player to Manchester United is a good thing for the club."
Arsenal are also keeping an eye on the player, while others like Leeds United, Everton and Southampton are also keeping tabs on the situation.
